Syrah

Ashton Vineyard Syrah is a handcrafted artisan wine.
The Ashton Vineyard is on the eastern slope of Sonoma Mountain, where morning fog and cool evening air moderate the warm summer days of Sonoma allowing a longer ripening period. The mountain‘s volcanic soil adds character, depth and complexity to the terroir, producing this full-bodied Syrah that has richly layered forward fruit flavors, abundant mid-palate sensations, a touch of spice, and a lingering finish.

The grapes are picked by hand, triple hand sorted and barrel aged for up to 36 months. The wine is deep, succulent and concentrated with richly layered fruit flavors, abundant mid-palate sensations and a lingering taste. This wine pairs wonderfully with a variety of foods, especially charcoal grilled vegetables and meats.
